| 4 mth old - Puppy tangles at roots Hi, Maybe you Gals that Show your Yorkies can help. I have 4 Yorkies but have never had one with this amount of Coat. I have a 4 mth old Yorkie Puppy that has alot of hair. Her GrandFather is Squeakers From Prestigeous Yorkies. So she has alot of hair. She seems to be loosing puppy coat & tangling at the roots Her hair is about 2 inches long now. I comb her every night with a metal comb I use Plush Puppy Natural Conditioning Shampoo, Natural Silk Protein Conditioner, Blow Dry Cream. I do have the SeaBreeze Oil but have not tried it on her yet. I tried Coat Handlers Conditioner on her Saturday instead of Plush Puppy Conditioner. But every night when I comb her she has tangles at the roots. I have even tried the Cowboy Magic detangler when combing. Please any suggestions!!!!

Plush Puppy Products are Fantastic I have No complaints at all. I have 4 Yorkies - All with different Coat Types & it works on all 4 Except those puppy tangles every night!!! My Stormy is 16 wks old - she started with the tangles a few weeks ago.

The best thing to do is quit trying to detangle every night, you're gonna make her hate her grooming. Go online and google for Isinis Brush. Bathe the puppy, with what every shampoo and conditioner you use, follow up with Emu or Almond Oil 1 cap in 1 or 2 cups of warm water. Now while puppy is in your arms, blow dry and use the Isinis brush to gently brush out the mats. If you have an extra difficult one, use a very small slicker brush, using the side of the slicker gently work at the mat, try not to pull. I don't brush daily, I bathe every 4 days and only brush when drying. I know it'll be tough not to do, but you are over working the coat and can do more damage.

| I've heard nice things about this Emu Oil but have never tried it... since I bath my girls once a week, do you think it's gonna make their hair greasy?? |
