California specialty 5/24

I'm going to attend my first show. I'm so excited about getting to see some beautiful yorkies.

Is anyone here attending or showing? I'd love to meet other YTer's.

It is at the Sheraton Hotel in Pomona. I have no idea about the schedule of the shows. They have a pdf file at http://www.ytcla.org but there is no listing of times or anything.

I feel your pain. I just graduated from CSUSB last June, so no more finals for me...until grad school...later

I'd gladly travel to Pomona to go to a show. I've never been to a Specialty, and would love to learn about the sport of showing yorkies so that I can finish My SweetPea! But it is such late notice, I wish I knew earlier. Can't take Thursday off due to meetings that cannot be re-scheduled.
It woud be fun... so ENJOY, and tell as about your experience!

Hey, I go to CSULB! I know there are going to be a few dog shows here in June, there's no specific Yorkie one, but there is a Toy Breed show (which Yorkies are a part of), so I'll probably go check it out with my friend.

No...my Chloe is not a show dog. But I can't wait to see all these beautiful dogs.

that's a different show. The one I'm talking about is on 5/24. It is the YTCLA.

I was just seeing if any other YTers will be going to the show on 5/24!

My understanding is that the Jack Bradshaw thing is a 4-day circuit that is separate from the YTCLA thing.

The show your talking about is at the Pomona Fair grounds that is right behind the Sheraton Hotel, so Yorkie breeders that travel for the Specialty Show stay for the weekend to attend these too.

Even tho this one is not just Yorkies it is still candy to the eyes to see all the different breed's and how beautiful they are in person.

I might go on Sat. since it is a much bigger show and show in a much bigger area there are a lot more different vendors
