No Longer a Member | If anyone was too late to sign up for the dinner, I have an extra dinner ticket available at the one on Thursday evening. I paid $35 for it, but it looks like my husband can't go now as my son has a band recital that same evening at the exact same time. I think the dinner is at around 6:30 pm. I'm still going, just my husband won't be going. If anyone wants to go to the dinner and buy my extra ticket from me, please pm me. |

Great, thanks for letting me know! This is my first show, I'm really excited, and muddling my way through. I might just have to go a couple of days. If you see a very tall blonde with her hair up, that would be me. I hope I get to put some faces with names. Janell

| If anyone is going to go on Saturday, I would go too. Anyone wanna go on Saturday? I went last year and met a YT'er who was showing her Yorkie. It's outdoors and you can bring your baby too! I took Jazzie last year. So who's game?

| OK - Thanks for sending me this thread Corinne! I'd somehow missed it. I've been confused about all this too...what was happening when, where, etc. But...now that I understand there are two separate things going on, I'm debating about going Thursday (luvmyyorkie - I'll PM you back in a sec), AND Saturday. We are scheduled to have the cable guy come out on Saturday between 3 & 5, but my husband said he can cover that for me. He was going to skip his meet-up with his car buddies this Thursday because he's been going to a lot lately (they're supposed to meet every OTHER Thursday, but it's been EVERY Thursday here lately), but this would work perfectly. We can each do our thing on Thursday, and then he has another car thing on Saturday, so I could do the dog thing, and he said he'd come home in time to cover the cable guy. Yippee! So, I've PMed Misty about her dinner ticket for Thursday (to see if it's still available), so we'll see what she says... Now...my only other question is...do we need to bring our babies in strollers or bags, or are they allowed to walk on their leash at these type of events? Also, what time do I need to be at each place? For Thursday - is there something happening BEFORE dinner, or I should just wait and come at dinner (assuming Misty's dinner ticket is still available)? For Saturday - what time are you and Janelle meeting up Corinne? I'll respond to your PM in a sec. I'm excited to meet you guys! |

| Saturday The show on Saturday starts at 9:00am and the Yorkies judging starts at 1:45. There are SO MANY vendors there so do bring $$$ since many are cash only! Also they give away bunch of samples and stuff. All babies are allowed on leash and to walk where ever they want to go (except in the rings). They also had flyball & police dog exhibitions. Here is a link to more info & a coupon for $2 off to get in. http://www.fairplex.com/fp/Calendar/...p?EventId=1337

| Oh, so anyways, I'm thinking it would be easier to meet there incase one of us want's to leave early or our pups gets too stressed and needs to go home. We can call eachother on cells to meet up as each of us arrives. What do you think? PS: I will be wearing the I YT shirt from Des!

| Sounds perfect! I think I will leave my kids at home. Two is too much to handle at an event like this as they glued at the hip, and I can't bring just one. More hands for shopping......I'm thinking maybe a bit later than 9, but I can meet up with you at anytime.........

Did you print the coupon? I don't remember seeing any strollers last year but now that I said that they probably will have tons! LOL! It's gonna be so fun! Can't wait! Oh, yes.... definitely a casual thing! Only people in Suits are the Judges and people who are showing.

No Longer a Member | FYI...Parking at the Sheraton I just called the Sheraton to find out about parking. If you park at the hotel, it is $8-$15, so have some money with you! Can't wait to see you all there. !! I'm about to leave. I was hoping to be there at 9am for the puppy show, but dh didn't take the day off like he said he would so I have to take my son to school first. |
