| How short are the nails done? I was doing the weekly nail trim today ( Reggie and Kenzie hate Mondays...) and was wodnering with show yorkies how short are the nails? Ocne again referring to my little experience I know I had to grind the poodle's nail very short, no clicking what so ever..is it the same with the yorkies? Is their a specific or preferred measurement? The yorkie's I saw at the show last year had nails about the same as my pet yorkies and I can hear them click at times on the floor. Should they have been shorter or is it not as huge an issue as it was with poodles and their viewable nails? Do you use a grinder ( I would be leary cause of the hair!) or regular nail scissors and a file? Is there a trade secret with the show yorkies? |

| My two yorkies hate the grinder, when I have used it I only use it when their hair is wet so it is easier to push back and less chance of getting caught. |
