| Being a foster mom is a wonderful feeling! If you have the time and love please consider volunteering for a yorkie rescue! I volunteer for YHR and I am the only member in my state with the only little foster pup!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I've had fosters for as little as overnight and one I kept for 5 months (only because he was "special" and by my choice). Normally it's a couple of weeks to get them vetted, a new home application processed and approved. It's really up to you how involved you want to become, they need help with all aspects; fostering, transporting and donations (which can be $$ or crafting items for sale). Thank you for asking!!!!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Oh, I sincerely hope that you do decide to foster, you won't be sorry. The process for YTNR is not difficult at all. In the first post I linked to their website and their foster application. Basically you fill it out, follow the instructions and they will contact you. Even if you can't foster at this time, they do need help in other areas.

| I fostered for a local rescue here in CA. I ended up adopting my first foster baby.... Hubby says no more fostering because we will keep them all! He is probably right, but I am going to keep on working on him. Its a wonderful gift to foster these poor babies. |

| Im a foster for YTNR. I too adopted my first foster. We kept fostering and I cry and cry when they leave even though I know they are going to a good home but I know if I keep them I cant help any others and there are so many that need help. But even though its sad when they leave and it is also the happiest day ever to see them off to their new forever home that you chose and know is perfect. If you are considering being a foster....please do it is the most rewarding thing I have ever done.

| Its great to see people giving so much to Rescue these little ones, I have just watched the video onYoutube of the 90 yorkies getting busted from puppymill and I cannot comprehend what these little ones must go through. I truly admire each person who can do anything to help. Jennifer I know how much you put in to your rescues and much you help the little ones who come in to your care. I love to see their little faces and how they blossom under your care, which in turn enables them to go to their new home, keep up the good work.

| I also foster for OK Yorkie Rescue and have been since July. I absolutely love it and would encourage everyone to give it a try if you possibly can. It is one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. To see them blossom from terrified to social, loving little babies lets me know I have done my job as a foster mom. Yes, I cry every time I place one in their forever home but know that I have saved one more precious yorkie! I adopted my first foster also. And have been tempted to keep others so many times but know that I need to help another. But when that small little female comes for me to foster I just might have to keep her. There is never enough foster homes and with all the puppy mill busts foster homes are needed now more than ever. |
