BANNED! | Has anyone used this before?? These look like they may be the newest trend in carrying around our furbabies. Has anyone seen them or used them yet?? http://hottydog.com/puppypurse.html PPfeatures_photo1.jpg Last edited by tiggerr36792; 08-11-2007 at 12:10 PM. |

| I seen those a few years ago and there is no way I'm going to carry my baby with one of those.

| I don't think that I'd like to use that, or they would like to be in it. Did Pepe Mint like it.

| Those came out a few years ago. The first ones that came out were the Puppy Purse. I put Lacy in one once at a store. I'm just not interested in carrying her around like that. I really don't know if it's comfortable or not or if most dogs would like that or not. Just seems kindof strange with them just hanging for so long.

| I've seen them on line, but never in person or on tv. So I'm always wondering WHO does use them. I hate to giggle, but everytime I see a pic of one, it just looks funny to me. And those ads with the beautiful models with their lovely clothing and matching "puppy purse"? They just strike me as "odd". But I'm waiting for Britney Spears to carry her new little guy in one!!!

| omg - I missed the 2nd pic!! aka yorkie mama is right. Yours is way cuter. It looks more like a "carrier" with some support instead of the ones that look like they're hanging without much support. That one I could consider. But I still wonder if they would like it as much as a regular carrier.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Dogs like to feel something under their feet - everytime I see one I wonder how that affects their backs - not to mention their tummies - |

| I haven't gotten any response back from pepe mint other than that she really loves it. With the one I made there won't be any stress on their tummy or their back b/c I made it sturdy but soft lined and it gives plenty of support. It is secure b/c it has straps all around that close with side release buckles. When you set your baby down it stays on and can function as a harness. We tried it on Mitzi and she didn't mind at all. My husband carries her around with his underarm under her belly all the time so her feet hang free too and she seams to enjoy that tremendously. |
