I just gave my first baths with Minksheen and loved it!! The smell reminds me of Avon's Skin So Soft (I grew up with my mom rubbing it on me to keep away the mosquitoes). They turned out very soft and shiny.

Minksheen shampoo I guess everyone is different, but I didn't like the smell at all, she was very soft, but I get the same results with Coathandler and I like the smell.

I use my vet products not to happy , but I just got John Paul Products, like the Tea Tree shampoo, water foam shampoo the condition and the ear and eye wipes, they r Cruelty Free- Tested on Humans First. Well some here at YT use it and either love or just like it, so it sounds like the products are good. bark@ulater! manina, miley, max | |

Anyone tried Pure Paws? I was looking at YouTube videos recently and came across Pure Paws. Being an easy mark, of course I went to their website and ordered the Ultra Reconstructing Shampoo and Ultra Moisturizing Conditioner. They arrived with a free bottle of Shine Spray (haven't tried it yet as I was using The Stuff on the Mat King, Seamus). Yes, these products seemed expensive but are concentrated, mixing 1 oz shampoo or conditioner to 8-10oz water. The fragrance is fruity, not overpowering and definitely doesn't scream DOG SHAMPOO. These products did a great job of detangling and shining up both Seamus and the ever glamorous Emma (who has a thin, scraggly coat). In other words, we LOVE this stuff!!! It's worth it to check out the Pure Paws website just for the video of Yorkies with un-docked tails in the show ring! Regards, kath Jack, Emma & Seamus

From what I heard, they use Skin So Soft in their shampoo to keep the fleas away.

I was having trouble with itchy skin on one of my yorkies and it was suggested that I use HALO SHAMPOO. It is a PURE, NATURAL PRODUCT and the result is that he still is scratching but 90% less. There is no perfume in it and I think it is wonderful. I also use Tropic Clean conditioner.

I love the pet head shampoo. I used the "lifes ruff" from petsmart. Love it. Hair stays cleaner and softer longer. Hair doesn't get oily nearly as fast. And smells good. It has a berry smell. I love it. Best shampoo by far. Cost about $10 at petsmart and comes in a cute container too w a bone shaped lid.

Hi all I am a new mommy of a really sweet boy named Wilson... He is everything and more to me. But his coat is one wild mess, he looks like a puffball and no amount of combing does the trick. I have used a hypo allergic shampoo on him as I am allergic to scent and it really doesn't make him very shiney plus his hair is hard to comb out. And as far as combs and brushes go what is the best. He is 4 months old.

Shampoo I have had yorkies for 25 years. The well bred ones have soft silky coats. Some of them have bushy coats and that sounds like what your dog has. First of all, I would use a Psi pin brush with a face comb that is 4" in length, chrome with half fine prongs and the other half regularly spaced prongs. You can usually get all these items at a dog show or on line. I would try ©The Groomer's Mall-Professional Pet Grooming Supplies and Products for Dog, Horse and Cat Grooming Secondly, I would try using Vet Solutions Shampoo with Tropiclean conditioner. Both are wonderful. If he has a dry itchy flaky skin problem try using Halo Shampoo and conditioner. Daily brushings and combings are essential to keep the knots at bay. Good luck and let me know how you are doing.
