I Love Thor Donating Member | Have you heard of these organic brands? Sorry, I know I'm on a posting rampage here but I was wondering if anyone had heard of these food bands. Apparently they are all organic but I have never heard of them. Have you? | I have heard of Natural Balance (I hear there rolls are the best). And I've also heard that Old Mother Hubbard & Raw Advantage are pretty good too! Are you looking to change food or just for treats? Just wondering.... |

I Love Thor Donating Member | Yes I am, something without chicken, and obviously corn. I have no cluw what to get but it has to be good for small dogs and big dogs as Thor seems to only eat what his big sister (lab) eats! Hannah |

All of those brands are really great and I have heard of most! We use the Nature's Variety Raw Diet (their dry food is excellent also) and the Flint River Ranch Dry Dog Food. Mine also love the natural balance rolls (their dry food is another one of my favorites for my 3) and I use the rolls as treats. Its like a little sausage and you can slice small pieces, awesome for training. Occasionally mine will get the "wing-a-ling" canned food by Merrick, which they like a lot. Merrick's dry food is also supposed to be a dog's favorite. Old Mother Hubbard makes wellness, which is a popular food. If I remember correctly, Wysong isnt the greatest compared to some of the others, and pepperdogz- never heard of that. If I were looking to switch again after my research and what I have tried, Id probably choose Natural balance, nature's variety, merrick, and old mother hubbard (wellness). Those are the most widely sold nationally in terms of natural foods. | |

| A lot of those brands, if not all, are on petfooddirect.com. I was just on there today looking at all the different foods. You can go on there to see all of the ingrediants of all kinds of different foods. Some of those in your list are supposed to be good but if you look at the ingredients some have some sort of meal first instead of a meat which isn't as good. Not all of them but some. One that surprised me was Royal Canin (not in your original list). I've see on here that quite a few people feed this but I think it had a meal product first in the list of ingredients. |

| I use Natural Balance beef rolls for Sabrina. They are the first real dog food that has all the vitamins etc. in it she will eat (and I'm 10 years at trying dog foods). She literally dances for it. I have been real pleased with it. It sounds expensive - but even the smallest rolls last a couple of days, so it's really not, and you can add veges etc. with it. She had no diarehea or anyhting on it so far. They have it at Petco and often have sales. My only positive experience because it doesn't have corn, wheat, or chicken in it (she has allergies).
