| Chris Christensen shampoo and conditioner review It's awesome! I bought the day to day shampoo and day to day conditioner. The coat looks amazing and the products are mild enough to not dry the skin. I was using Minksheen like for a year now and Sasha's skin got itchy. She use to scratch a lot but now she doesn't. I love this product. you can het both for $7 each. isn't that price great?!! Here is the website: Chris Christensen Systems, Official Site, Internationally Renowned Canine Grooming Products Used By Top Show Dogs!

I paid 50 $$ back in 2005 but it was worth it - I have it right here and use it every day edited to add RDB911 - don't know about samples - but you can call them - I did that way back when I ordered to get the right shampoo for Chanel - they were great on the phone - course - it was years ago - I don't know how much the customer service has changed since then

| I used the CC "Day to Day" shampoo and conditioner on Maximo and I agree that the products were great for his skin and coat texture, fullness, and shine. My only complaint was the scent did not agree with my nose or Maximo's. It's a nice scent, but not for us. We both prefer the smell of PetSilk and we can tolerate BioGroom, which we used this week. I was really disappointed that CC "Ice on Ice" did not work for us. It made a greasy mess out of Maximo. I have yet to find a brushing spray/detangler that will work on him. |

| Looks like there are $10.00 little sample kits. I am certanly going to try it. Wondering about brushes. How do I know which one to get? My girls don't get matted. They get brushed daily. I have been using combs and a pin brush. Should I use a slicker??? |

I tried diluting it and it was still too heavy. Same with a product called "Miracle Coat." I ended up giving both products to friends. I'll just have to keep experimenting with different things.

| I don't think you need a slicker if your girls don't suffer mats. You might like the CC wooden pin brush. We love ours. |

What are you trying to get from a product like ice/ice? Some coats don't need lots of products. Less is better for most coats. What is your issue you feel you're trying to overcome or did you just think it's part of proper care for a nice coat? Ice/Ice or The Stuff w/ water when you have tangles. Instead of a slicker or breaking the coat, work w/ it in the fingers to remove a matted area to save coat. I've you have a good coat it should be good with shampoo and conditioner. Nothing else should be needed. Less is better.

We don't have matts, just the occasional tangle after playing rough on carpet, etc. As you suggested, I always use fingers to detangle first, then carefully work with a comb. I would never use a slicker -- I don't like them. Several show people here have written that they don't brush too much between baths so as not to overwork the coat. I have to brush Maximo daily because he is a rough and tumble boy, and his grandpa always makes a mess of him. The BioGroom Mink Oil and OMG Plush Puppy are on my wish list for products to try.
