| Custom made collars? Hi Everybody! I was thinking about getting my baby a collar with her name embroidered on it....(I still don't have her yet) lol but I am concerned about getting her a collar with a hanging tag...I've heard that they can get caught in the heat vent....anyone know of a place to get these collars made?:aime eyork |

| you can get them at petsmart for like $6 or less online. Teddy wouldn't eat or drink out of his bowl with his collar on because the tags would make a noise I think its a great idea this is the exact link. | Have you thought about getting a harness instead? They are much safer, my girl loves hers. I ordered it from Chattiesmom here @ YT. I don't think that she embroiders them, but you could always have it done by someone else if she doesn't. She did such a fantastic job of making ours. Here's Missy modeling hers

| oh wow! I love your harness! It's adorable!!! Yes I will probably get a harness for her as well...I was thinking in terms of one she would wear all the time, in case somehow she got lost...she would be able to be identified Thanks for the good info! Your pup looks adorable! |

| Collars can get lost, too. I asked my breeder to have my baby microchipped when she went in for her first shots. She will still wear a collar and tags (all of mine do), but I feel more confident of her being returned with that microchip in place, especially is she is picked up by the "pound."

| I agree with LilMissy. Because of the tiny bones in their neck we prefer a harness over a collar. |
