| What A Way to Start A Sunday Woke this morning to my lil Izzie trying real hard to poop, but she was having a hard time.....so I checked her and she had poop hanging halfway out....(could this be what you all call Butt Plugs?) I was thinking she might have been constipated as I gave quite a bit of plain cheerios yesterday for good girl treats and that along with her dry Eukunaba knibbles might have been a bit too much dryness for her....anyway (sorry to get so explitite) I was able to help her by soaking her bottom in warm water and helping her get rid of what was on the outside....after that she did eat a bit and had some water....but then started shaking like she was scared or cold...so I have her a small bit of Nutri-Cal....if I rubbed her tummy she had a very slight wimper....she has not tried to poop to since this morning and I have tried giving her a small bit of apple/putting some water in her dry food and 1/4 tsp of canola oil with her food.......she has been sleeping alot today and just not quite herself, but has seemed to perk up a lil bit this afternoon....she has been eating/drinking and going potty, but still no poop.....should I run her into the vet or is this something that is common for such a small breed....this is all so new to me as I am used to having much larger dogs.....she will be 3 months old tomorrow and at last vet visit was 2.5 lbs....Thank you all for you help... Worried Mom

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am sorry your baby isn't feeling well. If she seems worse or stops eating and drinking I would get her into the vet. These little ones can get sick pretty fast. I believe canned pumpkin will helo them go. Keep us posted.

| Awww, poor little thing! You might want to trim the hair around her butt. Many times, they will get the poop stuck to that hair, and it causes the #2 not to be able to come out. If she's acting strange, you might run her over to the vet. You can give her a little canned pumpkin to help with the constipation. Good luck and keep us posted!!
