| Rows of teeth My puppy Connor is now 5mos old The vet suggested that he be neutered at 6mos. So I decided to get him neutered and microchipped at the same time. But today I noticed that he still has his baby teeth and his adult teeth are coming in behind them. My question is...How expensive will it be to get the vet to also remove his baby teeth...the ones that need to be removed. Do you this is too much for Connor at one time?

| Not sure about price, but my girls had it all at once as well and they handled it just fine. Spay, microchip and teeth extracted...

| I just had Basil neutered on Friday. Neutering, chip and 7 teeth pulled were $207. As far as hadling it well all at once, he was trying to steer my car when I drove him home late Friday afternoon . He ate 4 times Friday night (small portions of chicken & rice), no throwing up & no diarrhea. I'm giving him his liquid antibiotic twice a day, but he didn't even need the pain meds that they sent home with him. I was scared to death that he'd be really sick with having it all done at once, but it's been a breeze. |

| I had this done with Google too, only I didn't get him chipped. Neutering and teeth pulled (I forget how many now, it was about 9 months ago? but I think it was 11) cost me just over $200. |

| I think when they get spayed or neutered it's the perfect time to remove teeth, because yes--even though they have sore bottoms and mouths, they're not nipping at their stitches because of the sore mouth! The discomfort (at both ends) clear up at about the same time, too. |

| Rex got neutered and had some teeth extracted on 3-20-07.. since then I see his canines are coming in behind his baby teeth. the vet didn't remove those because the adult teeth hadn't erupted yet. question is: will they have to put him under again to pull the canines? |

| Our vet recommended we wait until the BOYS are at least 6 or 7 months old to be nuetured & microchipped in case they need to have their baby teeth pulled . He would rather only have to put them under the anesthetic once rather then twice . It definately makes sense . |
