| Remy throws up often: should I worry? Remy is our youngest (8 months) and he seems to be in good health. However, he throws up often (especially lately). In the past two weeks he's thrown up 3 or 4 times, including twice in the past 4 days. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what this might mean. We have him on Innova dry food, but he doesn't eat much of it. Sometimes I wonder if he is eating enough, but when we gave him wet Innova he didn't want to eat it. We also feed him dry chicken strips every morning. Besides that, he'll have a greenie or an edible rawhide bone. We are worried about him and are thinking of taking him to the vet. We want to neuter him soon anyway, so we don't want to make too many trips to the vet since it's a long ride. Should we be worried? |

| You shouldn't just neuter him until you know and is sure he is perfectly healthy. Dogs can act like nothing is wrong when something is wrong until they are gravely ill. Is he de-wormed? You should really get your vet to check before proceeding with neutering. Any surgery, big or small carries a risk and if he is not healthy, the risk gets higher and you don't want that.

| Could be a greenie.Didn't they recall those and made something to replace the greenies? Greenies aren't good for them, I think it is something about not digesting them. Rocco will go through spells ogf throwing up green stuff.I have been told that it is bile and they do that sometimes on an empty stomach. Is it green? I also feed Innova dry? HMMM |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali had the bile throw up when her stomach was empty so i feed her 3 times a day and it stopped. Also rwahides and greenies are hard to digest for these small dogs.
