| Giving your baby yogurt certainly won't hurt, just don't over do it. My precious Chester had a yeast infection in his paws one time, it can be a little difficult to get rid of, so stay on top of it and don't stop using the meds just because the symptoms go away. I can't recall the medications they prescribed for Chester, but they didn't work fast enough for me. I'm sure someone will freak on this one and I'm not suggesting you do this to his ears, but my old country vet told me to mix one part bleach to nine parts water and dip his paws in it. It was gone in no time. Again, that was his paws and I don't recommend you putting this on his ears. Best of luck to you. |

| Poor baby, I know that's painful. Toto had an infection in her ears before but not nearly that bad. Her's was caused from the hair down inside the ear not being plucked and when I bathed her the water got down in there and couldn't come out. Found out that a groomer was just clipping them way down inside there instead of plucking them out. I now take her to the vet regularly and have it done there plus I use earplugs in her little ears when I bathe her. She had to take oral antibiotics plus two different meds that I had to put down in her little ears. Hope your baby feels better soon!

My furkids Donating Member | Lillie had a yeast infection in one of her ears when I got her...It took a LONG time to get rid of it..like 3 1/2 weeks..I felt so bad for her...she kept scratching her little ear..I would ask the vet what you could put on it.

| I've even heard if you put plain yogurt on the ear, it helps with the scratching. Home made remedies. |

| Have ear canal hair plucked, get her to the vet to verify that it is a Yeast infection, could be an bacterial infection that would require a different antibiotic. For yeast infection he'll prescribe Otomax (antibiotics) twice a day + flushing out once day for 10 days.
