| Eukanuba and Mixing? i bought my baby some eukanuba puppy food but her breeder is giving her pedigree so i was wondering if when i get her i should mix the eukanuba with the pedigree? or how can i get her used 2 the eukanuba? i heard you shouldn't try to change her food right away. I also bought this nutrical, is that the one i always hear about on here? or is there another one? have u used eukanuba b4? and if you have do you think it's good for them? THANKS! I also posted a pic so you can know exactly which one i'm talking about |

| Yep you want to mix the Eukanaba and pedigree half and half and slowly decrease the pedigree. There are several different brands of nutrical. Thats not the brand I have but i am sure it is the same thing. Eukanaba isnt one of the best rated foods but its not a bad food either. You wil be okay. I know you have to be getting real excited

| I am not familiar with pedigree. Mine eat Royal Canin for yorkishires. I get it at Petco and Petsmart. I think in Chicago you also have a Pets Supply Plus and you can get Chicken Soup for the dog Lovers Soul. Thats a real good food. Both of those foods have a puppy formula and they are real small bites. I got the chicken Soup for my dogs but unfortunately they didnt like it and thats why they eat the Royal Canin

| pedigree is not a good food at all. they sell it at kroger here in my town and it is one of the cheaper ones. Full of corn. i use Eukanuba simply because it is the only one my bunch will eat except a little of the Eagle pack at times and cesers once a day. I leave the Eukanuba down all day for them. There are better foods out there than Eukanuba. I have tried them all and regardless of what people say to you, you have to go by what your dog will eat. They don't all like chicken soup, royal canin and some of the others frequently mentioned on here. ceeby was the pickiest eater ever and he finally has settled on Eukanuba, Eagle pack mixed in for his dry and Ceser's one fourth tin once a day. |

| I think you unknowingly put in the name of another yorkie site and thats why it blocked it out. Yes Royal Canin has a formula for Yorkies and one of shih zus and I dont know what else kind of dogs.

| I use to feed mine Eukanuba small breed puppy too but switched to Nutro Ultra puppy about 1 month ago. Eukanuba is full of by products and their poop stunk like crazy!!! |

| Royal canin has corn (cheap filler product that is hard to digest) in it and I think the first ingredient is a grain, not a meat - choose another since you are switching anyway. Eukanuba is definitely better than Pedigree. I fed Eukanuba for years with excellent health and coat results, but it does have by-products in it so I have switched to Nutro Natural Ultra - Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul is another good one, Candidae, merrick's are others. To change food, just add about 1/4 of the new with the old for a week, and then 1/2 of the new with 1/2 of the old for the next week, and then 3/4 of the new and 1/4 of the old for the next week, and then finally all new! | As a rule of thumb, your puppy's foor should not have any corn or meat by-products..Eukanuba and Pedigree both have them. There are a lot of other good foods. I feed Cali Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul and its really good for them..Cali loves it And yes..if its unopened, you can return it..
