Donating YT 11K Club Member | My baby shakes while sleeping...normal? I just have a question. I was watching my baby Teddy sleep and he jerks a lot. I figure it's because he's dreaming, his little paws move and some of his body. When I tried to wake him up it was very hard, usually a dog wakes up at the sound of anything. Finally I woke him up just to see if he's okay, as this is the first time I had a Yorkie and he is only 2 1/2 months so I was just wondering if this is normal. He woke up but went right back to sleep, and nothing can wake him up sometimes, like when I call his name or tap him lightly. So I'm just wondering is this normal for a puppy of 2 months to be so sleepy? |

| Yes it is perfectally normal. At only 2 months old he will and should be sleeping alot. The shaking or jerking is normal, mine all do it, they even whine, I always say they are dreaming that they are chasing rabbits. Sometimes all I have to do to wake them is call their name but other times I have to tap them or shake them a little bit to get them to wake up. It makes you wonder what they really are dreaming about.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Thanks so much...That is exactly what I was wondering, what could he be dreaming about that he won't wake up. It is just so cute when he sleeps like a little baby...Thank you for your input. |
