Yes it is perfectally normal. At only 2 months old he will and should be sleeping alot. The shaking or jerking is normal, mine all do it, they even whine, I always say they are dreaming that they are chasing rabbits. Sometimes all I have to do to wake them is call their name but other times I have to tap them or shake them a little bit to get them to wake up. It makes you wonder what they really are dreaming about.
