| Petsmile - VOHC approved Pet Toothpaste I received my tube of Petsmile Pet toothpaste a few days ago and really like the toothpaste so far! It's pricey at $25 but the tube is going to last a while and I felt that one of my dogs could really benefit from the ingredients which remove the thin layer of film on the teeth so that plaque doesn't attach. It's too soon for me to tell if it will work for my dog, but, it's a VOHC certified product so I thought it was worth a try. It's the only toothpaste VOHC labeled. Here is the link to the product if anyone else is interested. Petsmile | by Supersmile

| Thanks for sharing! We're still using our CET toothpaste but maybe once that's gone, I'll check this one out.

| I'm still brushing with it. I do notice that it takes the slime out of his mouth. Gross, I know.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Oh this sounds interesting, Ralphie really hates to have his teeth brushed and this says that you can just put it on the teeth, so I'm definitely going to give it a try. Thanks for the heads up!

| I ordered some for Buster as he does not really like the toothbrush so I use gauze pads and I don't feel they are abrasive enough for the plaque. This sounds like it should solve that problem. I also like to use the Healthymouth water additive which helps too.

| Does anyone have any feedback on Petsmile? I know this thread is a couple of months old but I am hoping by now everyone will have tried it and can give me your recommendations. I am close to the end on my CET toothpaste and was thinking of ordering some Petsmile. What does everyone think of it that have been using it for a while?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | What are the non-brushing instructions, do you just put a blob in their mouth and let it work itself around...or are you supposed to put it on your finger and distribute it on their teeth for them?

| We are using the Virbac CET toothpaste on ginger now, she loves it. Our last dog, Sig, a Heeler was 14+ and had perfect teeth with no brushing, only using the CET drops every night before bed, also clean breath. We only feed dry kibble and treats and NylaBone chews and stuff. Ginger also has nice clean breath, spotless white teeth, but she's only 9 months. |

| Petsmile also keeps your pet’s breath fresh. All without the need to brush. Petsmile can be applied with a fingertip or our exclusive swabs. Or you can use a toothbrush if your dog will let you. Petsmile goes to work immediately to attack plaque from bacteria, acid, food and saliva. And it dissolves in the mouth safely and effectively. No wonder it’s recommended by pets and vets. |

| I stopped using it and went back to CET. I have a brand new unopened tube of petsmile so if someone really wants it the first person to PM me can have it.
