| Need coconut oil help Betty Boop has developed noticible dry skin and it seems to be running up and down her spine. She is very itchy. I've read that coconut oil can be applied to dry skin and can also be given with her meals. I saw his jar on the HEB grocery shelf today. Can someone tell me if this particular oil is acceptable? On the label, it says it is manufactured in a plant that processes tree nuts, peanuts and sesame seeds. It is a product of the Philippines. Should I go to the health food store instead and buy Nutiva? She is eating Precise kibble (Lamb). Thanks everyone!

| If she has no allergies to nuts, it should be okay. Wet-milling fermentation method of CO extraction yields higher levels of antioxidants as opposed to expeller methods.

| Thanks, Kathy. Does Nutiva fall into this category? I've read where some YTers use the Nutiva. Maybe they will see this thread. I've read a lot about Tropical Traditions, too
