Betty Boop has developed noticible dry skin and it seems to be running up and down her spine. She is very itchy. I've read that coconut oil can be applied to dry skin and can also be given with her meals.

I saw his jar on the HEB grocery shelf today. Can someone tell me if this particular oil is acceptable? On the label, it says it is manufactured in a plant that processes tree nuts, peanuts and sesame seeds. It is a product of the Philippines.

Should I go to the health food store instead and buy Nutiva?

She is eating Precise kibble (Lamb).
