| Constipation My 14 week old puppy Teigan went from having totally normal looking poop yesterday, which had a dog poop smell for the first time btw, to having a hard time pooping last night which resulted in a ball of soft poop hanging from her bum. I gave her a jiggle and it fell off. This morning, hubby told me she tried and tried but couldn't poop. Behavior is completely normal. Only food difference yesterday was that for the first day of her life I did not give her any Fresh Pet puppy roll that I have been using as treats. I gave her a few this morning and am waiting to see. At what point do I start worrying, and is there something safe I can give her to help move things along? Thanks! |

| you can check with you vet about giving some mineral oil. when keylo first came to me she had an awful time going...half from being spayed and her stomach muscles hurt and also half from being brought up from LA and changing foods and probably the stress of a new home. my vet had me give her that for a few days and it worked miracles.....you just need to be sure you give the correct dosage for the weight of your baby. welcome to yt and im in nh also!!
