| What do you feed your yorkie? I'm feeding Boo Grandma Lucy's reconstituting dog food. It's dehydrated. It looks a lot like oatmeal (or porrige) and they have choices. They have chicken, lamb, beef, etc... I feed this every morning with whatever veg I have in the fridge, grated. I add some canned sardines (no salt or sugar), whatever meat I have been cooking for the family (I take some aside and make it for the dogs cus it can't have spice). Tho I know the food is complete I still add my own protein some days. I ALWAYS add extra veg to fill them up. They want a lot of food in their bowls and if I fed them the dog food as much as they get when I add extra veg they would both be F A T. At night I feed them a raw food diet. It's called, Nature's Variety InstinctRAW (grain free). It's frozen and it's AMAZING. I have been told that if I keep them on top quality food and mix it up that their little systems get strong and as healthy as an ox. You also don't have to worry about switching your dog over slowly as they're both TOP NOTCH and there's no worry. What's in your dog's bowl...? |

| We fed Acana for the longest period of time. We've fed lots of others thru trial bags, samples, etc, over his 4 years, but his MAIN food was usually Acana. Always did very well on it. We've been feeding Fromm for the past 4-5 small bags and he did well in most regards but the eye goop/boogers were getting insane and he was always acting starving lately, and whiny. So about a week ago, I picked up the sample bag of Acana and just got through feeding it... eye boogers completely stopped, whininess/always acting hungry stopped. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do, he certainly looovesss his Fromm a lot better (taste-wise), I trust the company a whole lot more, and I just don't know. LOL. Dog food can be so complicated But I think you just gotta do what your dog does best on!

| Zeus and Ody (cat) eat a raw/home made diet. It's not the frozen kind...straight up raw, lol. They love it and both have thrived on it - huge health differences for the good!

| Yorkie eats Purina HA (known on the internet as, "sawdust", "all fillers ", "not appropriate for canines", and "the worst kibble out there".). PBGV eats Royal Canin SO (not sure what the internet says aboutthis one except the usual fillers and byproducts thing). In a perfect world I'd homecook. Second choice would be a RC or SD reglar kibble or canned.

| We feed Acana or raw! I used to solely feed prey-model raw, but things got too busy for that. Now we feed grain-free kibble and occasionally some pre-made raw.

| Mine is on Acana. Even if you have them on a high quality food and you switch to a different one you still should do it slowly just because it is high quality doesn't have anything to do with that.
