| Size Of Canine Caviar Kibble Riley has been eating Canine Caviar Wild Ocean Grain Free ALS Dinner since August 2nd. He STILL goes nutso over it.... even while in Florida for 11-days. He gobbled it up breakfast & dindin.... which made Me Happy!! He likes it sooo much I am almost afraid to change proteins, like some people suggest, when he finishes the on he is one, now. When feeding him Acana, I used to have to Cut the kibble... and when I didn't he really would sniff at it and walk away. I'm wondering if that is one of the reasons he Likes the CC so much [because of the kibble size...] Could be part of it.....?? I Really hope they don't go changing anything for a long time!! I just wanted to post a photo of it on a Quarter, Dime and Nickel for anyone who wanted to see the kibble size. I actually still have almost a whole bag of Acana so I will take a photo of them side by side as well and post later on. |

| T- Since he is doing that good I wouldn't switch proteins just yet. Maybe do another bag of the Wild Ocean, in the mean time you should get some samples of the other flavors and see what he likes!!

| I also notice a difference with Peanut, as you know I was a cutter LOL. With the Brothers food I don't have to cut it and it seems Peanut enjoys it more!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I have to cut Ralphie's kibble, it's made by Wellness and it has limited ingredients, so it’s not easy for me to switch. I found putting a cup in a plastic bag and pounding it with a mallet works faster.

| Actually, Canine Caviar grain free is great for allergic dogs. If you want a limited ingredient w/out potatoes (inflammatory food) or flaxseed, the oil version being the most problematic as it can get rancid (most dogs are allergic & produces soft poopies), CC has none of those ingredients. They also have beneficial grain formulas. I also like that they have the probiotics further up on the ingredient list. I've been looking for another kibble for awhile & saw RileyDC's & other's post about CC. Thank You(s)! Recently got the Open Sky (Duck) & they love it!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Oh that's good to know. I do break it up, and sometimes I hand feed, but it would be nice have a smaller. I was worried when they stopped making his, it's like you find a food that works and they change the formula.

| The Open Sky duck formula that I had was almost the size of Acana... just a bit flatter though. All the grainfrees used to be the size of a pencil eraser, but the bag I had was almost Acana size.

| I just got the CC Open Sky last week. The kibble is really tiny, just like the one pictured above. Maybe they changed it since?

| they changed it twice?? That was only in June... and the bag I had purchased was that size as well. I had emailed them around July sometime and they told me they had changed to a bit larger kibbles, and lots of stores did not have them in yet.
