Didn't know that about flaxseed, both my dogs get ground with no problems so far. Wellness Simple Solutions recently changed their forumla from potato to oatmeal, he's still doing fine on it, but I've been wondering about making a food switch. I know his previous owner had so many problems, I'm a little leary about making any changes, but I just wish his kibble were smaller. He doesn't bother chewing it even if I cut it, but swallowing it whole seems so bad for him.
