| Yay! Finally a hard poop. I want to thank everyone who helped me on my quest to get Beckham to finally have a hard poop. Since I got him 5 months ago, he had nothing but loose stools. Not bloody or diarreah - but just a loose. I tried different pet foods to figure out the problem. I really didn't want to go on anything prescription because I have another very, very healthy yorkie that has no issues at all, and would eat the same food. So with the help of some very knowledgable people here on YT, I found that looking for a dog food, low in protein and fat would help, with no grain. That helped........but what really did the trick was the "Wholistic Acidophilus". Once I added this to their diet, within a few days we had a very normal looking hard poop. Yay!!! We are all very happy now. Thank you everyone.

For a 3 month old puppy - make sure you are not changing his foods often. If you do change his food, make sure its within a few days of mixing it in with the old food - 1st day just add in 25%, 2nd day make it to 50%, 3rd to 75%. Also, you should not change their food (especially at that age) for a month of being on one food. Too many changes are not good for their sensitive tummies. The wholistic acidophilus definitely helped us.
