| Orijen Regional Red I have been feeding Neo dry Orijen Red for the past week.He seems to quite like it (super picky that he is ) and it seems to agree with him, tummy -wise. My question is since it is for all life stages, will it be ok to feed to my 14 week old, too? |

| I have a sample of Orijen puppy, too. Connor likes it , but is constantly trying to get to Neo's bowl, and vice versa. It would really be convenient and cost saving too if I could feed Red to both dogs. Last edited by LoALAnna; 07-08-2010 at 01:10 PM. Reason: clarification |

| I believe that you just need to adjust the amount fed. Check out the nutritional values and compare it to the puppy food. You can go to their website. I fed the 6fish formula when mine were puppies and simply adjusted the amount. The 6fish formula does wonders for skin. I have a lab who has allergies and she does amazing on Orijen. I think it is probably the best dry dog food going.

| I am going to see if our local store carries the Orijen RR food. I really love Orijen/Acana brand (he eats Acana Grasslands right now) and I've been wanting to try the Orijen with him as well. I'm pretty positive an all life stages food is fine! I personally believe Orijen and Acana are some of the best kibbles around right now.

| It's fine, it's also a seasonal food and won't be available year round. I haven't had any complaints about Orijen Red. |

| I had Snickers on Reginal Red for over a month and he seemed to be doing OK, but then relapsed into his chronic tummy problems that he'd been having on the other foods I'd tried. He seems to have a sensitive stomach and I took almost a whole month to transition him to the RR...I was really hoping the Orijen would work for him, because I think it's a very high quality kibble. I do think this food is quite rich and high in protein and fats and so if your dog has any digestive problems at all, you might want to just ask your vet what they think. |
