| Furbaby eating rabbit poop? Help Just wondering if anyone else has ran into this esp during spring weather? My little one can scout it out for miles and go right to it and now with the snow being gone there is more of it than ever! I try and make her drop it but as soon as she grabs it she bolts and there is no way of catching her - although the site of me chasing a 4 lb dog I'm sure is amusing to some at the park! Anyhow thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone else has this issue. Thanks |

| Yes, my boys love the little chocolate easter eggs. This past winter, Max demonstrated that he can find them under a foot of snow. Yuck! It's one of the many reasons that I don't allow them to roam in their own backyard. My only advice is to get rid of the rabbits or section of a portion of your yard with some kind of fencing/chicken wire that will keep out the rabbits. |

| I recently ran into the same problem, but with cat poo...my vet said that the poo is rich in nutrients and protein in particular (alphalpha) he said it makes their coats very shiny, it wont hurt them but if it really bothered me to use a powder called "Forbid"...you just sprinkle it on their regualr food and it makes the poo smell bad to them and they should keep walking by instead of stopping in for a bite |

| we have a ton of rabbits in our front yard area. I blocked off the backyard gates with wire mesh so they cannot get in backyard. My neighbors dog got giardia and the vet thought it was from rabbit poop eating. Not sure if this can happen as have not dealt with giardia before myself but it made me nervous so i blocked them from getting in the backyard we live in a place called RABBIT valley lollll |

| All three of ours do this! We have tons of rabbits! We have a fenced in yard & three dogs, but our yard seems to be the birthing spot for rabbits! The other day two of them ran to the side of the house & when I followed, there were 2 baby bunnies in one of my window wells & three in another! Fortunately my dogs are too scared to jump in the shallow wells or we would have had 5 dead bunnies! We try and stop them from eating it as best as we can, but it's not easy!

| Rabbits actually have to eat their own poop. The first stage of their digestion is incomplete and produces the hard nuggets, which they eat again and produce a softer poop. So first stage rabbit poop is really more food than poop. Don't know if that makes anybody feel any better....
