All three of ours do this!
We have tons of rabbits! We have a fenced in yard & three dogs, but our yard seems to be the birthing spot for rabbits!
The other day two of them ran to the side of the house & when I followed, there were 2 baby bunnies in one of my window wells & three in another!
Fortunately my dogs are too scared to jump in the shallow wells or we would have had 5 dead bunnies!
We try and stop them from eating it as best as we can, but it's not easy!
