Is it ok to mix kibble with raw medallians? I have started feeding by fur kids NV raw medallions and they love it. We started out with the rabbit and today I went to another shop that carries it and told them that I had been mixing some kibbles with it and they said that if I mix them they suggest not feeding them together because they digest completely differently, but if I need to mix to make sure that they are the same flavor. Does anyone else mix kibble with the raw medallions or should I not be doing it? I was so excited because I finally found something that my picky eat would actually eat.

my girls are getting one medallion and a tbsp of acana kibble with the raw. We started this diet to lose weight for madison and for overall better health and they are doing great! Madison has lost 1/4 inch in diameter in her girth.

| I'm trying to get Uni to gain weight, and I am mixing one patty of stella and chewys with a full serving of kibble. She is scarfing it down and so far no adverse effects from mixing.

Back in the old days (lol), most vets recommended mixing kibble and canned...It was junk food, but I didn't know it back then...I raised several very large dogs that lived to be 10 -12 years old on kibble & canned...I'm sure this high grade raw and improved kibble is even better...

Some owners say that kibble and raw is bad because the kibble will force the meat to sit in the gut for longer than usual and can increase the risk of bad bacteria multiplying. To date I have never seen any evidence of this being true and i continue to use both at the same time
