Yorkie Yakker | New Puppy and diet change On Saturday, I finally got a new puppy! The breeder didn't give us any of her food. And I failed to ask what she had been eating. I normally use Science Diet for puppies (my vet recommended that) so I just gave her some of that Saturday night and Sunday. Today, she hasn't eaten anything and only has been drinking a little. I'm guessing it's a diet change...but I would really like to be reassured. Thanks to everyone in advance! ~Beth |

| Can you call the breeder to ask what she had been feeding the puppy? Also, how old is your puppy? Changing the food so quickly can make a puppy sick. Do you have Nutrical on hand just in case your puppy needs it?

Yorkie Yakker | I called the vet. He said since she has had new food 4 times that it should pass quickly. If not, he wants to see her tomorrow. Zora is 14 weeks old. She did eat and drink a little when I got home. So I feel better. I was just worried. |
