when we first got our puppy I had this problem too. I gave our little one some home made chicken vegetable soup and some cottage cheese. The next day I gave her scrambled eggs with some toasted raw oat meal mixed in, then some poached chicken, carrots, peas, and green peppers. After she become more secure in her new home it was easier to feed her.
