| I have Petplan, but haven't made a claim, so can't comment on that area...I got it, mainly, for any catastrophic injury or illness...They seem to be the only company that covers congenital things that yorkies are predisposed to, as long as they don't have them at the time of the policy...I think I only pay about $18 a month, and that's w/a $200 deductible, but it gives me peace of mind... |

My furkids Donating Member | I posted about my VPI just the other day...it has gotten pushed out but, if you go into (I believe) the health sticky,,,you can find it, I have never heard of the insurance you are talking about. Although I know there are several out there.

| There is a website that lists many of the pet insurance types and has user reviews Pet Insurance Review - comparison of VPI, ASPCA, etc. I have PetPlan for my three dogs. I have made several claims and have had NO problems! They respond immediately, have awesome customer service and pay REALLY quickly. |

| Thanks. I reviewed them all last night. PetPlan appeared to be the best, but I thought I'd get some input from you guys before I jump in head first. Reading all the catastrophic illnesses on the forums made me feel that I'd be wise to have her covered. I'm not usually an insurance kinda gal, but that trip to the ER opened my eyes to vet costs. It was shocking, really. So... PetPlan it is. |
