Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Halo Herbal Dip for fleas and ticks Does anyone use Halo Herbal Dip? it seems to have a lot of the natural oils in it that people are talking about using for flea and tick repellent. Ingredients: Tea Tree Oil, Rosemary Oil, Sage Oil, Cedarwood Oil, Peppermint Oil, Sweet Orange Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Citronella Oil, Pine Needle Oil Plus it can be added to shampoo, put in a spray bottle with water, or a collar or bandanna can be dipped in it.

| I don't have a review of any of these types of dips or sprays but I would not use tea tree oil and leave it on. I don't even like using it in shampoo. If they can possibly lick it off, no way. Sergaents makes a product with similar ingredients/essential oils. I'm not sure if it works for fleas or not but there are a lot of complaints about reactions just because the oils are so strong.

| Well, so many people use it without problems, so it isn't a concern to most people. But there are reports of cats in particular but possibly small dogs dying from the stuff. It probably has to do with ingestion. I'm sure there is some information online about it.

| I was using the Minksheen, but TJ got a tick on him (attached to his neck) on Sunday. So I am going to buy this: Only Natural Pet Herbal Defense Spray for Dogs & Cats As well as their Shampoo and Conditioner (no SLS either) |

| Not sure about this. However, Lilly went months without getting any fleas and quite a few months ago (it was still cold out and everything), I used my Minksheen sample on her and I swear it drew fleas to her. 2 days later, I found some flea dirt in her hair on her belly. I refuse to use it anymore, it was so weird. I immediately gave her a Comfortis pill and bathed her in her usual shamp and cond and no more fleas.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | after doing some research and talking to my vets i decided to put morgan back on heartworm, flea and tick meds. She is on Sentinel and frontline. The frontline that the EPA is investigating is frontline that can be purchased at the store or anywhere else besides your vet. The frontline that you can buy at your vets office is safe because it comes directly from the pharm. company. I was just using minksheen too but i discovered bug bites on her and just don't feel comfortable using just this anymore. It seems there is controversy over everything that can possibly be used so i'm sticking with what i know, that has been tried and trusted.

| I use Interceptor only from May to Nov. Last May we got our yard treated for ticks and they didn't get any on them at all last year, so I was able to stop using Frontline, as I am not thrilled about putting a chemical like that on them. We don't have fleas so I don't have to worry. I did just buy that stuff from Only Natural along with the S & C - so I hope to have success again this year |

| If she is getting bit, it is probably best to go back to flea meds. I would never recommend stopping heartworm meds. We don't use flea and tick meds because we really just don't need them and I take precautions to make sure we don't. Our yard is sprayed and Ellie doesn't really play outside, so she rarely gets bit. We do Interceptor though.

| I use Minksheen too & I think I'm bringing fleas into the house. I found a flea on Mimi's stomach & applied frotline right away. I use a flea & tick shampoo for grooming & it has Neem in it, supposed to be all natural too. Haven't researched on it or anything tho.

| I have been doing some research on Neem oil. From what I have read it is harmful. I ordered some shampoo with neem in it. If I am wrong about Neem someone please let me know. What is your thoughts on it?
