| weird breathing? sometimes when i take tyce for a walk he kind of "heaves"...his chest goes in and out, and kind of makes a honking noise (thats the only way i know how to describe it) and then he catches his breath. its not that his neck is being tugged on or anything, he wears a buddy belt so nothing is even close to his throat that im aware of.this can happen too when im playing with him, if he jumps up to get a dangling toy or something. im just worried that maybe im going to have a trachea problem dog, and want whats best for him. oh, and also does anyone else have this problem? sometimes hell just be sitting there and hell kind of have the hiccups, but only 5 or 6 10 seconds apart and then it stops. its sooooo weird, but im scared its his...heart or something. maybe im just being crazy. any ideas, or suggestions? | It might be a callapsed tranchea. I remember my Bella was doing some sort of honking for months and after giving her so much meds it continued and the vet said it might be a callapsed tranchea. $700 later, it stopped on it's own. The only thing was, she was only doing this at night til morning and I did a lot of research on callapsed tranchea which says the honking happens when the puppy is active. You might check into it but it can always be something else..I'm not an expert |
