| losing hair? I've noticed recently that my baby is losing some hair on her muzzle just near her nose. There seems to be some small white bumps on a bit reddish and flaky skin. Can anyone help me, what can it be? And any solutions? I was thinking, maybe I didn't rinse her enough after shampooing her face? She hates getting her face wet that's why I have a hard time washing her off. Any ideas? TIA!

| What type bowls do you use? Plastic bowls hold bacteria and can cause skin infections. Ceramic or stainless bowls are much better. It sounds like it might be a staph infection. |

| I just have to say thank you...cause Pasquale just recently started itching his nose..and i couldnt figure out why? So i did a quick search on here...and saw this post and then it came to me. Hubby bought Pasquale a Drinkwell fountain for Christmas....and its plastic!!!!!! I knew plastic bowls trapped bacteria too...i guess i was just in awe cause hubby wanted to do something special for Pasquale. I feel so bad cause i know hubby meant well...but i'm afraid i'm gonna have to get rid of it. Thanks again..i knew i wasnt going nuts and seeing things.
