Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Nature's Variety Raw Food Diets Questions. Kayko doesn't like to eat so i'm trying to find something good for him. How do you switch a dog to this? Can i mix it with his Dry food? Is this a complete diet?(i dont have to add vitamins) He's 15 lbs how many would he get? How long would a 6 lb bag last? |

| I would just go ahead and switch cold turkey and I have done that myself with no tummy upset at all although, all pups are different. Yes it's a complete diet. I would probably add some fish oil myself though. And I know they have a calculator on their site. My Zoe is only 5 1/2 lbs and I think they recommended 2 medallions a day for her (she probably was a little smaller then since it's been awhile) so I'm not sure how much a 15 lb pup would get. I believe a bag lasted me about 3 weeks but I wouldn't swear to that and since you'd probably be feeding quite a bit more than I was, I would think you'd be lucky to get 2 weeks out of a bag. I am now feeding prey model raw with much success and only good things to say about that but Natures Variety is good too! |

| My girls did not like the Venison So my girls have been on NV chix medallions for about 3 weeks and they love it-we switched cold turkey without problems. But here is the problem-On monday I got 1 bag of chicken and 1 bag of venison. When they started the venison my toy poodle looked at it and looked at me it took her 10 mins to eat when it usually takes 2 mins. She didn't like it. My mini poodle decided to just gobble hers down as usual-well it didn't sit well in her stomach. We had 3-4 vomiting episodes on the carpet . Now I'm stuck with a whole bag of food minus 3 medallions. So if anyone lives close by (I'm in charlotte, nc) and would like the venison PM me and we can work something out. I'm scared to try the other flavors and end up stuck with more bags. The girls eat 1 whole bag in a week-yes I use the feeding guide NV gives. |

| My Buttons loves both the Chicken and Venison. He eats 2 a day and some NV kibble just to give him a variety. We switched cold turkey about 2 months ago. His coat has so much more shine and he's excited to eat. He's about 6.9 lbs.

| I just added Nature's Raw Variety to my babies diet....and they LOVE it....I feed my two largest guys one and half medallions and my female one in the evening. They eat Wellness Core in the morning and I add salmon oil to both feedings. They go nuts when it's time to eat. I also bought them bully sticks...another big hit!!!! |

| My Jamie is on NV Raw and he LOVE LOVE LOVES it! Which is great, because he would ever eat kibble. He would just kind of play with it. He only eats the medallions and then gets cherrios and Yorkie Yummies as treats throughout the day. He is about 5 lbs and eating 3-4 medallions a day depending on his activity level. From what I understand, mixing kibble and raw could cause problems as they digest at different rates. So I definitely wouldn't feed them within 8 hours of each other. Jamie's favorite is the rabbit! Oh and a 6lb bag would last Jamie a full month.
