I would just go ahead and switch cold turkey and I have done that myself with no tummy upset at all although, all pups are different. Yes it's a complete diet. I would probably add some fish oil myself though. And I know they have a calculator on their site. My Zoe is only 5 1/2 lbs and I think they recommended 2 medallions a day for her (she probably was a little smaller then since it's been awhile) so I'm not sure how much a 15 lb pup would get. I believe a bag lasted me about 3 weeks but I wouldn't swear to that and since you'd probably be feeding quite a bit more than I was, I would think you'd be lucky to get 2 weeks out of a bag. I am now feeding prey model raw with much success and only good things to say about that but Natures Variety is good too!
