Senior Yorkie Talker | correction collar Please, can anyone give some info on correction collars? My pups keep getting out the yard. I have a very large yard, and i want them to be able to run around without getting away from me. |

| How about something like this.... Ex Pens - Exercise Pens - Portable Dog Pens Or some other type of fencing?? I don't know about shock collars, other than years ago I read they hurt the dogs skin.

| My personal opinion is that yorkie's are too small or any kind of correction collar. I have a yorkie that no amount of training would keep him from running off. He has a true terrier urge to hunt and run free. I had to houdini proof my back yard fence. Is it possible to fence the yard or maybe fence off a small portion of your large yard for the dogs? Good Luck, I've had to give up on ever letting my little guy off leash when he's not inside the fence.

| I would patch the holes where they are escaping. and if they are digging under the fence, you can line the fence line with paving stones. They are really too small for any type of electronic device. And also if your dogs can get out, other critters can get in, so it really would be best just to mend the fence. |
