My personal opinion is that yorkie's are too small or any kind of correction collar. I have a yorkie that no amount of training would keep him from running off. He has a true terrier urge to hunt and run free. I had to houdini proof my back yard fence. Is it possible to fence the yard or maybe fence off a small portion of your large yard for the dogs? Good Luck, I've had to give up on ever letting my little guy off leash when he's not inside the fence.
