| FOOD Battle of the day.... OK IYO"S, which is the better of the two...in this corner we have WELLNESS and in this corner we have Merrick. (BG TOO).....both wet and dry....I have to find a food that my picky one will eat. but he cant have wheat or grain. Thanks for the help...

| Rotate and use them both. That way you get the benefits of both foods. I personally like Wellness better. But that is just me. I have used both the canned and the kibble. My picky eaters wouldn't touch Merrick kibble, although they liked the can. Good Luck, I'm sure someone else will give you some advice also.

| I have never tried Wellness, but my boys like the Merricks. Bentley is on Turducken (was on Pot Pie for a year) and Louie is on Puppyplate. They seem to really like it, and I also feed them fresh meat, fruits, or veggies as treats. The kibbles are dense and have real peas and apples in it. I do notice that their eyes can by watery sometimes even though I feed them distilled water. I may be from the food or other factors. Once I finish the 15lb bag I will probably switch to a grain free kibble such as Instinct NV and see how they do. I ideally would like to switch to raw but my schedule is too irregular but I do the best that I can.
