| Question on knee health My Yorkie has grade 1 LP on both knees. Since he isn't showing any signs of pain or limping the Ortho Specialist said he doesn't need surgery. I was relieved to hear that. I had been reading on YT that some people give their Yorkies who have LP's glucosamine. So I called my vet and asked her if I should give it to mine. She said absolutely and she recommended Cosequin. I was a bit upset because she never recommended it to me. Luckily for YT I found out about it. So I was just wondering, in addition to the glucosamine, are there any other vitamins that are good to give for LP? I forgot to ask my vet, will he be on Cosequin all his life? Does anyone know?

| Cocoa, my tiny female senior, has already had LP surgery on one knee and will most likely have it on the other knee in the near future. My vet said she would be on the glucosamine supplement for the rest of her life. She actually has my oldest female on the same supplement just to improve her old joints. Joanne |
