| what brand dog food do you feed I currently have Gizzie on royal canin yorkshire formula and she has done very well on it but i know i would get sick of the same thing all the time so my question is is it ok to just switch their food and what brand do you recommend, i think i want to try a premium food but I dont know the best place to buy it, they dont sell any at petstores here..... I have heard good things about canidae (sp?) wellness, and chicken soup

| Yes, you can switch brands of kibble for variety...just do so slowly to avoid tummy upset. You may want to switch to a premium brand that has several protein sources to choose from, such as Nature's Variety....they are meant to be rotated to give your dog variety. I feed Nature's Variety Raw medallions. I normally alternate between venison and rabbit

| Right now mine are on a combination of Canidae All Life Stages and Chicken Soup Puppy. Occasionally, I buy the Canidae Lamb and Rice just for a change. |

| dogs are not like people, they say if you find something they like and are doing well on it, to leave them on it..That's what I do..Mine have been on the same food now for a long time, they eat it very well everyday..they're healthy and their coats are nice, so not going to take a chance of doing anything that will upset their stomachs.. |

| We are using the Innova. We had some problems w/the Canidae! But we are seriously exploring the option of homecooking!

| What kind of problems did you have? I was going to switch my little ones to it because they don't care for the wellness to much
