Yes, you can switch brands of kibble for variety...just do so slowly to avoid tummy upset. You may want to switch to a premium brand that has several protein sources to choose from, such as Nature's Variety....they are meant to be rotated to give your dog variety.
I feed Nature's Variety Raw medallions. I normally alternate between venison and rabbit
