| I like some of the hints she gives for tear stains and the pony top knot is too cute.

| Love this! Thanks for sharing I usually use scrunchies because I think they Re easier on the hair, but what type of bands would be the best for the hair to do the flip? Any ideas?

| Mimi is very pretty in this topknot! I am going to have to try this (you are challenging my hand coordination, lol). Thank you for the blog link too.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | That's very cute... Not sure any of mine would sit still long enough to get that done.

| Thanks everyone! MO shares a lot of excellent grooming tips on her site/blog. Since Maltese & Yorkies have similar hair, thought I'd share. It's a plus that she uses a lot of the Madan grooming tools too. Quote:
Must see pics of Max & Teddy w/the Dolce flip! Loll I had to see the video several x's to 'get it'.

| Aww I remember doing pony flips when I was younger but never thought of doing it on a yorkie! Definatly going to try it, it bugs me when Lola's top knot flops in her face. |

| I tried the pony flip today, I used a crochet hook. It worked well but I think it would be neater with the right tool. I like that her topknot isn't flopping in her face. |

| Did a different pony flip hair style on Mimi today...regular in the front & did the pony flip aka "Dolce flip" on the 2nd band. Love it! DSCN2353.jpgDSCN2352.jpg Please excuse our naked base boards...we still need to paint! Quote:

| Here are the pictures. The first picture is my first attempt, Lola did not want her picture taken lol. The second is today, I love the way it looks with a bow in front. Both were done with a big (size M) crochet hook. Her topknot has been flopping in her face (I've cut it, taken different amounts of hair, tried different angles, etc), so this is a good solution. I ordered this pony flip tool, the small end of the smaller one should work well. New 2pcs Women Lady Girl Fashion Hair Braid Ponytail Maker Styling Tool | eBay |

That's the same exact tool I have. I use the smaller one, the big one is too big for their little heads.
