| Teeth and Face Hi! I have to questions for you guys: 1. How of ten do you wash your baby's faces? I find that I need to wash Maya's face at least once every 3 days, if not her hair becomes hard and messy. 2.Maya wont let me brugh her teeth with a tooth brush, only with my finger which I find not effective. I try giving het treats, but she doesnt like it! She just had her teeth cleaned few days ago and I would like to keep them healthy. Thanks! |

| Hi! I have the same problem with my baby's face! Also it's wet all the time. Have you tried the little "brushes" that go on your finger? you can get them at any pet store.

| I wash Betty Boop's face every other day. If I don't, her mustache and beard get food buildup and I can't comb her. Also, her top knot hair gets oily and dirty because my dh and I are always petting her, so I wash it at the same.

1. It depends on the length of her face and the amount of tears that have dripped down nose. If she's having a particularly bad tearing week then i'll wash her face with espree foaming face wash when needed. Otherwise she'll just get it washed on bath day which is every sunday or monday. If she has dry crusties on her face or eye area then i just use a flea or mustache comb to comb them out and neaten her up 2. There is a tooth brush that fits over your finger that you can try. Petrodex Finger Toothbrush For Dogs & Cats - Health Care - Cat - PetSmart most dogs accept this type of brushing.

combing and washing shouldn't be thinning the hair unless your really scrubbing it or tugging on it with the comb. does she scratch her face with her feet or rub her face on the carpet or furniture?

As for combing, I am actually very gentle, but after every comb, I see few hairs hanging on the comb. I guess its normal? And no, she doest scratch herself anywhere in the house... I also had to cut few mats around her facial her, will it grow back? She still has part of her baby coat in some parts (she is 11 months). | |

its normal for a few hairs to come out. their hair is like ours kinda. when you brush you lose a few hairs. the hair that you cut out will grow back. no worries.
