| Traveling Tater Hi everyone. My 13 year old son and I moved to Florida a couple months ago and Tate traveled with us. We rented a Penske Truck and drove from Portland Oregon to Jacksonville Fl. It took us 4 days. I made him a little bed between the seats and with the exception of an occasional trip to my sons lap to look out the window, he sat there the entire trip We were sure to bring plenty of treats, dog food and a gulpy for his water. We stopped frequently at rest stops along the way and stayed at dog friendly hotels each night. I have to admit finding these hotels was sometimes a challenge. Tate took pride in investigating every hotel room and bounding from one bed to the other. It was a great adventure for him and we are now Floridians!

| Thank you for posting this. We are thinking about planning a road trip from Florida to Texas to visit my family. I was a little worried about how Bria would do. this made me feel better about the long drive!! Welcome to Florida I live right outside of Tampa!!

| Awesome! I really want to bring Jackson with me next time I visit family in South Carolina (I live in MD now! Considering moving to SC eventually) so I'm really curious to see how he would do. It's a 10 hour drive to where they are, but I may stop at a hotel just to give him a good break.

| Congrats on your move. My girls and I travel from NC to OH (my hometown) about once a yr, it's a 10 hr drive. They lounge in the back seat with their toys and sleep almost all the way. We only stop to gas up (about 3 times) and that is when they take a potty break and drink water, they usually don't want to eat or only eat a handful of food. |

| Here are a few pics. The 3rd pic is one of my favorite how Febi is peeking into the frame from the side. |

What a great little Yorkie to be so good on a 4 day road trip! I am not so sure Ben would stand for it. But then he might just like the change.
