Hi everyone.
My 13 year old son and I moved to Florida a couple months ago and Tate traveled with us. We rented a Penske Truck and drove from Portland Oregon to Jacksonville Fl. It took us 4 days.
I made him a little bed between the seats and with the exception of an occasional trip to my sons lap to look out the window, he sat there the entire trip
We were sure to bring plenty of treats, dog food and a gulpy for his water. We stopped frequently at rest stops along the way and stayed at dog friendly hotels each night. I have to admit finding these hotels was sometimes a challenge. Tate took pride in investigating every hotel room and bounding from one bed to the other. It was a great adventure for him and we are now Floridians!
