| Stains and Odor Remover Help! I just wanted to ask you lovely ladies & gets (if any) what Stain & Odor Remover can I use for my mattress? My puppy sleeps with us in the bed (we just love having him cuddle up to us) ever since we brought him home and the problem is he peed in the bed like four times already (our mistake - didn't pay attention to the I need to go potty now signals). The mattress is full of urine stains and we can still smell the odor of it. Is there some kind of quality Stain & Odor Remover Formula (I don't know how to call it) that would penetrate the stain and remove it and also remove the urine odor? The smell is not awfully bad but it's there. We also want to sell the mattress and I want to thoroughly clean it before I even consider advertising it for sale. Your help and advice is highly appreciate it

| Do you have a mattress pad that is waterproof? Maybe you could call where you got the mattress or the mattress company has a website, get on there and see if there are any suggestions to take the urine smell out of your mattress. I have tried many things to take the "doggie smell" out of my house. A few things that have helped are those Yankee Candle plug in's. When I burn candles that helps to take the smell away ( mostly anyway ). I am sorta @ my wits end also cause if I don't do the above everyday, my house smells like dog. Good Luck.

| Rug Doctor Urine Eliminator is by far the best product i have used You can find it at most grocery store or hardware stores where they rent the carpet cleaning machines. Just saturate the stain and let it work. It will remove the stain and odor better than NAtures miracle or simple solutions found at pet stores. I think you will be pleased, the enzymes actually dissolve the stain and odor. |

| All of these are great remedies...I use diluted bleach water like 1/4 cup to 1 qrt of water..let it dry....We use Pure Citrus odor eliminator, you can use it on everything, spray this on the dry mattress and then cover it with a matress pad that is waterproof or your baby will and I say WILL ruin your mattress!!! We have a mattress pad thats very thick and padded and the last layer thats closest to the mattress has a waterproof layer and you can just take it off when you need to, wash and dry it and put it back on the bed!!! Good luck to you. Once they smell the urine on the bed, they will continue to pee on it, so cover it up.
