Ok ya'll,

we've got the details nailed down. I sure hope many Dallas/Ft Worth area YT'ers can make this. But it's not limited to just Dallas area YT'ers, everyone is more then welcome!! The meet ups we have in Waco are so much fun, here's a chance to have that fun in our own backyard!!

Sat Oct 24th
1:00-5:00 pm

Classy Canine Daycare Dallas Dog Daycare, Plano Dog Daycare, Pet Boarding at Classy Canine Daycare
Prize drawings for dogs who have costumes.

Chinese Raffle for gifts.

A sale table for new & gently used items.
100% of all proceeds to go to Yorkie Haven Rescue.

The Daycare is giving us full run of their facilities, and they are fantastic facilities for NO CHARGE!! They also have scheduled for a professional photographer

to be there, so if you've ever wanted a a professional picture of your kids, here's your chance.

This is a place that's very easy to get to

and you can't find a better cause to support then a Yorkie Rescue. Come have fun seeing all the kids in their costumes, buy some tickets and try your luck on the Raffles, meet new friends

catch up with old ones. What could be more fun on a fall Saturday afternoon.

I was hoping you and your girls would come. They are so stinkin' adorable!!! I can't wait to see them again.

Pass the word to any friends who have small dogs, we are happy to have them too. We want this to be a great success for YHR.

So excited to see you, Sam & Martin!! As to the photographer, no, sorry I don't know what their fee is. The Daycare had already booked them for this day. When we were discussing what day would work well for both the Daycare and us he suggested this day since many of his clients would be coming in for their pictures and would possibly give donations to YHR.

That's a great idea! I really wish I could make it, it sounds like so much fun.

I have to ask - what's a Chinese raffle? How does it work?

A Chinese Raffle is where you have all the items set out with a jar or box in front of each. You sell tickets and the buyer can then put however many they want into the jar in front of the gift(s) they would like to try and win. That way if you don't want the 45 piece Socket Wrench set with matching 23 piece Screwdriver set & Ball Ping Hammer you simply don't put any of your tickets into that jar. You save them all for the all expense paid, 2 week vacation to the Bahama's

Sure you don't want to come so that you can try and win that gift? And you believe me when I say we have one of those to Raffle off, don't you

Oh, see, that's where you're mistaken...you must be present to win. So just pack up your babies and head this way. But I'm sure you could win this with only one ticket.

Oh I can't wait to see that precious Kyla in her costume!! 2 more weeks and they will fly by. I have got to get cracking on the kids costume or they all will be coming as Naturalist's...aka: nakid!

I am *hoping* that I get to bring Sina and Carter. Sina is my friend's exchange student from Germany and Carter is their yorkie (same Carter that was with me a while back). This will be such a fun experience for Sina!
