Hi everyone - I recently came to the realization there are LOTS of Knoxville, TN yorkietalk people! And people close to Knoxville as well. I'd like to organize a meetup so we can let our babes play again! The one in Chattanooga last week was a freakin' awesome trip, and I would like to get together again with some of you local gals!

I was thinking May 24th. That is the only saturday I will be able to attend anything for a while ... what does everyone think? If you know other YT Tennesseans close to Kville, PM them with this thread and ask them to post if they'd like to come or not.

If 5/24 is not good, how about June 7th?

It would be the bomb if everyone was assigned a little dish to bring and we had a COOKOUT!!!!

Its definitely the season for it.

I will do some research on the different parks around town and post again.

Sounds good. I'm free both weekends as of right now. I would love to bring something 2. There is a gazebo at Anchor park in Farragut with grills. I don't think Sequoyah has grills. There are several others on Northshore close to Pellessippi across that Weigle's that has grills.

I think you have a great idea! I'd love to meet up with local Yorkie owners. The May date works for me.

I am getting so excited!

I mentioned to KristyC that it would be neat to ride around to all of the local dog park candidates and take pictures and post them to see what everyone thinks.

Anchor Park is very nice. They have frisbee golf and they have covered picnic tables. If you wanted to, you could go swimming in that lake that is right there. If you are planning on going, post this information so we can keep track of how people and babies will come!

We had lots of fun last time with Saba and I will be bring Sampson and Chunky, Saba.

I can go and drive to the parks on Northshore, I dont know where they are but I am sure I can find them

I would absolutely love to come with my lil fur baby and non furry ones to. I live on Northshore and I don't know the names of the parks but we do really have some really nice ones here and there is one with a little beach they also have the covered pavillon and grills. It is very nice there. I think any weekend in March and the beg. of June I am free so far. I love to cook so just let me know and we will be there.
